Beagle Security's Onam 2026

Office event
Team Bonding
The Beagle Security team spent this year's Onam at AadIsakththi Resorts & Spa in Vellar, Kovalam. By late morning, the property had settled into that particular Onam mood, everyone dressed for the occasion, the day stretched out ahead with no fixed shape to it yet.

The stage comes alive

The day began with a few of our team members sharing their thoughts on Onam and what the festival means to them. It was a simple start before the celebrations moved into full swing.

Soon, the stage was filled with music. There were solo performances, duets, and group songs, followed by dance performances that brought even more energy to the room. Colleagues cheered each other on from the audience, and with every performance, the atmosphere became a little more lively.

Four teams take over

Once the cultural performances came to an end, it was time for the games. The team was divided into four groups, and the friendly competition began. The first round brought an easy chair race, Sundarikku Pottu Thodal, lemon and spoon, and the challenge of moving a cup using a straw. There was plenty of cheering from the sidelines, along with laughter whenever things did not quite go according to plan. With four teams competing, everyone had their favourites, and every point felt worth fighting for.

Time for sadhya

After the first round of games, everyone gathered for the Onam sadhya. Sitting down together for a traditional meal gave the team a chance to slow down and enjoy a quieter part of the day. After all the running around and cheering, it was also a welcome break to simply sit, eat, and catch up with each other.

The loudest hour

The competitive edge came back after lunch. The games resumed with musical chairs, followed by tug of war. By the time the tug of war began, the four teams had narrowed down to two, turning the final contest into one of the most competitive moments of the day.

With both teams giving it everything they had and everyone cheering from the sides, it quickly became one of the loudest moments of the celebration. Tea and snacks followed, bringing the pace down again. People settled into conversations, talked about the games, and looked back on some of the day’s funniest moments.

As the day wound down

The last part of the day had no real agenda. Cameras and phones came out, smaller group pictures and eventually, everyone coming together for the group photo. . In between, there were smaller conversations happening everywhere, about the games, about the performances earlier in the day, about nothing in particular.

The winning team was then presented with their gifts, bringing the celebration to a close. It was a day filled with music, games, food, photographs, and the simple pleasure of having everyone together. A fitting way for the Beagle Security team to celebrate Onam.
