Our team embraced tradition wholeheartedly, donning vibrant Kerala attire and taking part in cultural showcases. There were lively dance performances, soulful songs, and colorful pookkalam designs that brightened up the venue. These moments captured the joy of celebrating Onam as one big family.
No Onam is complete without the legendary sadhya, and this year was no different. The team gathered for a sumptuous vegetarian feast served on banana leaves, featuring more than 25 authentic dishes. Sharing the sadhya together reminded us of the essence of unity and abundance that Onam signifies.
After the feast, the team set out on a tranquil houseboat ride along the scenic Ashtamudi Lake. Surrounded by calm waters and lush greenery, it was a time to relax, reflect, and simply enjoy the beauty of Kerala’s backwaters together. The ride brought a refreshing pause to the day’s celebrations, giving everyone the chance to connect in a peaceful setting.
The afternoon celebrations kicked off with spirited traditional games that brought out the friendly competitive side of our Beagle family. From tug-of-war to traditional Onam games, laughter and excitement filled the air as everyone joined in. These games weren’t about competition, but rather, the joy of building bonds and creating memories that we’ll cherish for years.
The evening concluded with the breathtaking views of Ashtamudi Lake from The Raviz. As the sun dipped into the backwaters, the team gathered by the poolside, reflecting on the day and capturing beautiful memories against the golden hues of the sunset. It was the perfect way to close a day that blended culture, fun, and togetherness.
