Beagle Security celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm at the picturesque Udaya Samudra resort in Kovalam. The day kicked off with a series of fun-filled traditional Onam games, including musical chairs, lemon and spoon races, and more. Laughter echoed throughout the resort as the team participated with zeal, making for a memorable start to the celebrations. The friendly competition fostered a sense of camaraderie and set the stage for the rest of the day’s activities.

The Onam sadhya

No Onam celebration is complete without the grand feast, and the much-awaited Onam Sadhya did not disappoint. The team indulged in an array of delectable dishes, including rice, sambar, rasam, and various vegetable and lentil curries, all served on traditional banana leaves. Each bite was a celebration of Kerala’s rich culinary heritage, as the team savored every dish while celebrating the harvest festival together.

The festivities continued with joyous singing and dancing, as the team gathered to perform traditional Onam songs and dance to popular Malayalam tunes. The atmosphere was electric, with everyone joining in the fun. Adding to the festive mood, the entire team dressed in traditional attire, with the men sporting shirts/kurthas and mundu and the women looking elegant in vibrant sarees. The colorful outfits added a cultural flair to the event and highlighted the spirit of Onam.

As the day drew to a close, the team gathered to witness the breathtaking sunset over Kovalam beach. The golden hues painted the sky, creating a magical backdrop for the celebration and offering a moment of peace and reflection. To round off the day, everyone took advantage of the resort’s pool facilities. A refreshing swim provided a perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and reflect on the joyous day spent together.
