Description

Apache Commons Text, a popular Java library for processing and manipulating text data, has been found to be vulnerable to remote code execution (RCE) due to insecure interpolation defaults prior to version 1.10.0. This vulnerability allows an attacker to inject arbitrary shell commands by injecting malicious input into the affected application.

Recommendation

To mitigate this issue, upgrade Apache Commons Text to a version of 1.10.0 or later.
