When a subdomain points to a service that has been terminated or deleted, subdomain takeover vulnerabilities might occur. This enables an attacker to create a page on the service that was being used and point their page to that subdomain.

Impact

If the vulnerability is exploited, a remote attacker will be able to take complete control of the website.

Mitigation / Precaution

Check your DNS-configuration for subdomains pointing to services not in use.
